SMS Messaging Terms

The program

SureGrounds sends service-notification text messages on behalf of the lawn care and field-service businesses that use our software. If you opt in, the business that services your property may send you messages such as appointment booking confirmations, appointment reminders, schedule-change notices, “technician on the way” alerts, invoice notifications with secure payment links, and post-service review requests. Every message identifies the sending business. No marketing or promotional messages are sent under this program.

Opting in

You opt in by checking the SMS consent box when you submit a request on a business's booking site, or by giving the business your consent verbally when you schedule service (which they record on your customer profile before any message is sent). Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Frequency, rates & carriers

Message frequency varies with your service activity — typically a few messages around each scheduled visit. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opting out & help

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time (STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, and REVOKE all work). You'll receive one final confirmation of your opt-out. Reply START to resubscribe. Reply HELP for help at any time, or contact us at hello@suregrounds.net.

Privacy

Your phone number and opt-in status are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy (“Text messaging (SMS)” section) for how your information is handled.
